SENSOLI - Carrier Oils

SENSOLI carrier oils are cold pressed from fatty portions (kernels, seeds, nuts) of the plants like Evening Primrose or Jojoba. Carrier oils each have very individual characteristics even without the addition of essential oils and can be used directly on the skin.

Another method of producing carrier oils is macerating, a process during which flowers of the plant (e.g. St. John's Wort) are placed in Olive oil or Sunflower oil, which is then exposed to sunlight. The oil warms up and the important essences of the flowers get absorbed by the carrier oil.
